Snagon

The true pirate of the sea. A voracious predator, This dragon type spends most of it's life flying over the open sea and hiding in the clouds in an attempt to snag unsuspecting prey around it. It's able to use its snake like neck and needle like teeth to launch its head forward and grab a hold of anything that it can swallow, be it slippery sharks or acrobatic dragons. It's tongue and heat sensing pits helps it sense prey from several miles away. Although mostly solitary, the Snagon does clue in on it's own species in order to try and steal a meal.

Personal creature work I've been working on over the past few months. I had plans to do an anatomical breakdown, but figured I should move on to more interesting things.
