The Banded Arassas or the Banded Tatzelwurm is a rare carnivore that lives in the forests and rocky outcrops close to mountains. It's reclusive by nature, and it has only been seen by adventurers who dared to explore such treacherous areas. The few people who have laid on the Arassas have described it's bizarre anatomy, describing it as a snake like creature with the face of a cat. Despite it’s awkward anatomy, the creature’s length is what makes it a successful and versatile hunter in the inhospitable environment it lives in. It’s able to use its length to climb to great heights and swiftly grab prey from tree branches or reach prey that has burrowed itself underground. The bands of the banded Arassas help break up it’s silhouette when hunting, and also provides it's young camouflaged from other smaller predators. As well, it makes use of its opposable thumbs to manipulate basic tools to help it eat the trickier prey items that are around. These qualities make the Banded Arassas the apex predator in its ecosystem.
